Eighteen metres of solar-electric catamaran, built in Stralsund
The festival's own entry describes the PY60 as an 18-metre (59 ft), wholly solar-electric catamaran engineered and built in Germany. It adds that the boat is not a concept: Pioneer One is in real operation.
A 48-volt backbone and 16.7 kWp of solar
Pioneer runs the boat on a 48-volt electrical backbone rather than a high-voltage system, which it argues keeps continuous cruising simple. The array is rated at 16.7 kWp, feeding at least 246 kWh of LFP batteries and two 50 kW motors.

150 miles on sunlight, 5,000 with the generators
At five knots Pioneer quotes 150 nautical miles on the batteries alone, and 5,000 with the auxiliary units running. The yard is explicit that these are measured, empirical or calculated figures that vary with sunshine, speed, wind and current.
About 250 square metres (2,691 sq ft) across three levels
Pioneer puts around 250 square metres (2,691 sq ft) of living space across three levels, with inside and outside running together. The hull geometry, proportions and weight distribution were developed for the solar-electric drive rather than adapted to it.
