A 12.98-metre sailing catamaran that replaces the Leopard 42, on wave-piercing hulls with reverse bows and a taller rig.
The evolution of a proven platform
Leopard describes the 43 as the evolution of the Leopard 42, reimagined for the next generation of its design, performance and onboard living. The yard says the project began as a visual and layout update to match the Leopard 46 and 52, then grew into a far more comprehensive redesign.
A mast three feet taller
The 43 has a wave-piercing hull shape, reverse bows and an upgraded sail plan, which Leopard says keeps its balance between comfort and sailing performance. The rig is larger: a mast three feet taller and twelve per cent more upwind sail area than the Leopard 42.

A saloon wrapped in glass
Glass now surrounds the saloon, replacing the GRP structures beside the companionway and giving what Leopard calls a true 360-degree panoramic view. Sliding glass companionway doors open the saloon to the aft cockpit as one space.
A side step, and more solar
On deck Leopard lists an integrated side step for dock access, more forward cockpit seating, a redesigned coachroof lounge and significantly increased solar capacity. The yard says the result feels open, connected and capable, with performance and comfort advanced together rather than one at the expense of the other.
