Cannes, France · world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
A contemporary take on the idea of freedom at sea, combining the ultimate in elegance, performance and comfort.
Vallicelli exteriors, IdeaeItalia interiors
The 70 was developed by Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and Group Engineering Department, with exteriors by Vallicelli Design and interiors by IdeaeItalia. Itama calls the result a pared-back design language that preserves the brand's heritage while projecting it into the future. It is aimed, in the yard's words, at lovers of true freedom on the water, where every setting is designed to promote wellbeing and a convivial atmosphere. The lower deck holds three cabins with en-suite bathrooms, in a layout Itama describes as comfortable, light-filled and seamlessly continuous.
Open-air living, bow to cockpit
Itama calls the exterior layout a masterpiece of conviviality: separate areas for relaxation that welcome guests with a warm embrace of light and sea breeze. The bow sunpad is flush with the deck to maintain the yacht's sleek silhouette, but offers a panoramic view that gives a whole new meaning to the open concept. At the back of the yacht, an extra-large cockpit carries a spacious U-shaped lounge and dining area. Central access to the sundeck is separate from the companionway on the starboard side. The helm sits off to port, with twin ergonomic seats.

Rationality and style below deck
The interiors are a model of rationality and style, with fine materials used skilfully to create a contemporary marine atmosphere. The layout of the dinette and cabins makes a cosy and practical retreat, Itama says, for owners who live and breathe the sea. Along the side, linear hull windows are the signature feature of the yacht, emphasising visual continuity between the interiors and the horizon.
Twin MAN V12s, preliminary speeds up to 39 knots
Absolute comfort, but also outstanding performance, in a pairing Itama says is imprinted in its DNA. Twin MAN V12s drive her. Two 1,400 hp units are standard and give a top speed of 37 knots and 33 cruising; the optional pair of 1,550 hp units raises that to 39 and 35. Itama publishes every one of those figures as preliminary data.
