Cannes, France — 8 September 2026 · world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
A 46-foot Hanse cruiser whose Beach Club carries the living space down to the water, with a bright interior laid out the way the owner chooses.
A familiar name, a new boat
Twenty years after the original, Hanse brings the 461 name back on a completely new yacht. She was developed with Berret-Racoupeau and builds on the Hanse 460, with new ideas for easy sailing, fast cruising and living close to the water.
Sailed from the helm
Every essential sailing job can be done from the helm on one set of winches, and the self-tacking jib keeps tacking simple. With the mainsheet on the coachroof, the cockpit stays open and free of stray lines.
Rigged for light air and heavy
Hanse gives her a high rig and generous sail area for a lively feel under sail without giving up comfort. Owners can pick a keel for their cruising ground and add a staysail, reacher or gennaker.
A beach club at the stern
The stern has been redesigned with a larger swim platform and lounge seats right at the water. A new wet bar, with an electric or gas barbecue, turns the cockpit into the place everyone gathers.
Laid out below the way you want
Below deck owners choose between a master cabin forward with an island berth or two separate forward cabins. Woods, floorboards, fabrics and upholstery are all picked from a wide range.
