Cannes, France — 8 September 2026 · world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
A 44-foot open cruiser with a full-beam T-Top, a cockpit bench that reverses to face the sea, and up to 960 hp on twin Volvo Penta inboards.
A new approach to open-air living
FJORD introduces the 440 Open as a motor yacht combining confident inboard performance, intuitive technology and a new approach to open-air living. The spacious cockpit forms the social centre of the boat, with a generous dining area and an opening galley.
The bench that turns to face the sea
Its most distinctive innovation is an electrically reversible aft bench. At the touch of a button it turns from conventional cockpit seating into a stern-facing lounge, opening the view across the bathing platform and over the wake.

Twin Volvo Pentas, 680 or 960 horsepower
The 440 Open runs on twin Volvo Penta inboard engines. The standard configuration delivers a combined 680 hp, and the optional twin D6-480 setup takes the total to 960 hp. A six-camera system gives live views around the yacht when manoeuvring and docking.
An interior drawn by Design Unlimited
The interior is by Design Unlimited, and FJORD describes it as bright, calm and contemporary. Two cabins, generous hull windows and a separate head with shower are intended to make longer stays effortless. The central lower-deck area takes either an integrated galley or additional seating.
