Cannes, France — 8 September 2026 · world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

An 18.9-metre (62 ft) aluminium expedition catamaran drawing 1.3 metres (4 ft 3 in), with more than 3,000 nautical miles of range and a choice of four, five or six cabins.

Bering’s first catamaran

Bering built its name on full-displacement steel explorers; the BC60 is an aluminium expedition catamaran, and a new chapter in that line. This 62-foot boat is purpose-built as a true expedition vessel. It carries the yard’s exploration DNA — seaworthiness, long range, comfort and safety — reimagined in a twin-hull format.

1.3 metres (4 ft 3 in) of draught, 3,000 miles of range

Built entirely in aluminium, the BC60 draws just 1.3 metres (4 ft 3 in). That opens up cruising grounds and anchorages which are otherwise off-limits, while the construction holds up to long ocean passages. With more than 13,500 litres of fuel and a range beyond 3,000 nautical miles, she has genuine transoceanic autonomy. Sound and vibration were given particular attention, which Bering describes as key to comfort over long periods aboard.

Four, five or six cabins

Layout flexibility is what Bering calls the distinct feature of this boat. 124.1 m² (1,336 sq ft) of external and 116.4 m² (1,253 sq ft) of internal space let the three-deck catamaran be built with four, five or even six staterooms, under an open or an enclosed flybridge. The flybridge can take a 27.7 m² (298 sq ft) boat deck with a crane, or serve as a lounge instead. On the main deck a sunpad sits at the bow, and a 47 m² (506 sq ft) saloon with a galley and panoramic windows opens onto a 25.2 m² (271 sq ft) cockpit.

“I’m so excited to finally see her in the water, and I can’t wait for the first sea trial. It’ll be great to feel how all those design decisions we made actually come together. We never compromise anywhere, I do think she’ll feel like a really complete boat straight out of the box!”
Scott Blees — Sabdes Boat Designs
“A touch of modernity blends seamlessly with authentic expedition catamaran DNA, uniting style with capability. Every line of the BC60’s exterior embodies our design-to-function philosophy — the very core strength of our studio.”
Valentin Design — Exterior designer of the BC60
