Broker's Comments:
The Jason 35 is featured in the book "Best Boats to Build or Buy" by Ferenc Mate, and was designed by Ted Brewer for experienced owners who wanted a seaworthy, fast, maneuverable blue water cruiser. As a result, this vessel has many features that make it safer at sea, easier to handle (with bow thruster!) and more comfortable.
This boat was built as the "Pilothouse" version. The seller reports it was an owner-finished boat when built in 1977 but not finished and launched until 1983. Whoever that owner was who finished the interior certainly had some strong woodworker / carpenter skills! The interior is very attractively finished in several types of wood and with a headliner of strips of wood commonly referred to as "Captains Cabin".
Kept for the last 25 years in fresh water.
