'Sapphire' is a well-appointed Royal Passport, a cruising cutter-rigged sailboat with the highly desired sugar scoop stern, owned by a knowledgeable boat owner with several decades of sea experience under his keel. And having made a passage down and up the West Coast over the past five years, it's now time to move on to other adventures.
Sapphire features a 63HP Yanmar with a Maxprop, furling mainsail, a 125% furling genoa, a staysail and an extended fin keel with skeg rudder, a center cockpit, a full beam aft owners berth with ensuite head. A pullman berth forward with a second head at the forepeak. Joinery throughout is superb. Electronics were upgraded with current generation in 2022. A custom davit with 600W of solar panels and wind generator. Rocna anchor with 225' of 3/8" chain and 100' of nylon rode. Watermaker too! All of these features yield a cruising yacht that is both capable and comfortable on the open water.
