Elevated three steps above the salon, the Raised Pilothouse is surrounded by large windows that provide superior sight lines in all directions for the captain and navigator. Midship cleats are located atop the gunnels adjacent to the pilothouse doors making single-handed docking convenient and easy.
The helm is to starboard and houses ship's controls, tank monitoring, navigation electronics and 12VDC and 125VAC electrical distribution panels. Double-wide adjustable helm seating is provided on both sides allowing guests to join the captain and navigator on the bridge. Slide the seat forward and drop down the footrest for full comfort. Two large hatches in the pilothouse sole provide unrestricted access to the engine room.
