A Must See to appreciate 50'/48 McKinna Pilot House Motor Yacht. By far the nicest of its make and in excellent condition showing as a much newer vessel, than its age and very low hours, this vessel has been upgraded and well maintained and is LLC owned. The narrow walk around makes for a wide spacious salon with windows port and starboard. There are sliding doors that open to the cockpit gives you a 180-degree view. The galley has been upgraded with a full-sized refrigerator/freezer and an induction cooktop. The galley and heads have been beautifully designed with custom backsplashes. The bridge has a permanently mounted table and six chairs for under the stars dining or fun cruising. The pilot house offers ease of operation if the weather changes. Rarely do you find a vessel of this size that not only is a good cruising vessel but also would make a very nice live aboard. View the pictures and then make a appointment to see this exceptional vessel.
The Mckinna was the first in a series of McKinna vessel which was extremely well received and stays popular today due to its large interior volume and layout. This model was available in both two and three stateroom layouts, of which this vessel is a two-stateroom model allowing both staterooms to have large walk around berths,
The first thing you notice upon boarding this vessel from the stern is a custom boarding platform which is at dock height making it much easier for boarding avoiding stepping down on the swim step and then back up a ladder. There is a large boarding gate in the stern and once on board and in the cockpit, you notice the stern controls with shifters and bow thruster control. forward in the cockpit you have all glass doors that open from center, and you enter into a very bright and Airey salon with cross seating, flat screen TV and a electric fireplace, with the galley bar and bar stools forward. The salon as well as the galley has been very tastefully re done with marine grade equipment. The galley is a large U-shaped configuration with a large refrigerator/freezer, trash compactor, convection Microware and two burner induction cooktop.
To Starboard and up three steps you enter the Pilot House which has a access door to the forward deck to starboard, a center line helm and a large L shaped settee to port for guest seating and access to the flybridge just starboard of center aft. Forward on the starboard side are the steps down to the staterooms below deck.
Upon arriving to the lower deck, you have the guest/day head to the port side with the VIP forward. The VIP stateroom has a centerline walkaround berth with dual hanging locker and ample storage. Aft you have a very spacious Master stateroom with the berth athwartship, hanging lockers and a washer/dryer inside of one of the cabinets. To starboard you have the master head which is large and a large Walkin shower.
