2024 HCB 53 Sueños RXV - Quad Mercury V12 600 | Storm Gray Edition | 120 Hours | Fully Loaded. She's a factory demo vessel, ordered direct by HCB founder Elias De La Torre III
This is one of the most comprehensively optioned HCB 53 Sueños RXV builds to come to market. Finished in a striking all-Storm Gray scheme - hull, deck, hardtop, and custom-painted Destroyer Gray hardtop frame - with chrome HCB logos and Mercury V12 600 engine graphics, this boat turns heads before it even leaves the dock. With only 120 hours on the quad Mercury V12 Verado 600s, she's barely broken in.
Power & Performance
Four Mercury V12 Verado 600 outboards deliver 2,400 total horsepower through a hand-laid Kevlar and carbon fiber reinforced vinylester hull with 22 degrees of deadrise. A Seakeeper Model 6 gyroscopic stabilizer ensures a steady platform at rest and underway. Trim tabs are hydraulic with integrated hoses.
Electronics & Navigation
The electronics suite is built for offshore and bluewater operation. Navigation centers on a Garmin package featuring a 22" center chart plotter flanked by dual 17" side screens, all with GSD 26 sounder and dual 1kW Garmin Airmar B175H Hi/Low CHIRP transducers. A Garmin xHD2 4' 4kW open array radar, Garmin AIS, Garmin XM Weather, Garmin side scan sonar, and autopilot round out the primary nav station. The upper tower station adds two 12" Garmin chart plotters with a dedicated engine display and full helm controls including trim tabs and bow thruster. A 24" Garmin aft-facing screen is mounted above the rear mezzanine seating area.
Night ops are covered by a FLIR M364C color thermal imaging camera with 640x512 resolution, 8x continuous electronic zoom, and 30x optical zoom. Dual VHF radios with dual antennas, a Fleet One compact satellite phone dome, Iridium Go portable satellite hotspot, and satellite TV on two receivers (TV1 and TV3) complete the offshore communications package. An LTE WiFi dome is concealed within a TV3-sized dummy dome, painted Storm Gray to match.
Fishing
This is a serious fishing machine. Dual Frigid Rigid baitwells hold 60 gallons each with dual primary 2,500 GPH Hooker pumps and dual variable-speed backup pumps per well. An additional 25-gallon bow baitwell adds flexibility for live bait. Insulated 150-gallon fish boxes port and starboard are upgraded with FrigBar refrigerated chill plates and compressors on both sides. A full-length transom sleigh seat incorporates a 30-gallon baitwell. Tuna tubes, a port transom bait prep station, and four electric reel outlets round out the fishing station. Rod holders are mounted forward gunwale and transom aft, with rod storage inside the cabin shower. A custom-painted rocket launcher holds 8 rods with rigging tray. Gem Lux 22' telescoping carbon fiber outriggers. A battle saddle chair and downrigger weight bucket complete the spread. A 600 PSI pressure washer with 50' hose handles post-trip cleanup.
Cabin & Accommodations
The full cabin features a queen-size berth, galley with refrigerator, microwave, and sink, enclosed head with electric macerating toilet, built-in vanity with mirror, and a luxurious tempered glass rainfall shower with teak grated floor. Cabin flooring is PermaTeek in Yuma Light Gray with black accent lines. Interior upholstery is UltraLeather (Feather #640-5968 UL). Countertops are finished in Natural Gray. Custom real wood cabinetry with high-gloss professional finish. Air conditioning provides 12,000 BTU cool and heat throughout.
Cockpit & Entertainment
The cockpit is centered around a rear-facing mezzanine seating unit with three refrigerators, fold-out tackle storage, counter space, and dual sinks - a complete self-contained offshore station. Cockpit upholstery is UltraLeather in Dolphin #640-6508 (Cool Feel Light Grey Smooth) with Bentley stitching throughout. Release Marine triple helm seats with teak ladder backs and custom Storm Gray teak, on polished stainless swivel bases. A carbon fiber helm pod (hydro-dipped) with power steering wheel adds a premium touch. A removable aft cockpit table in high-gloss teak with compass rose is included.
A Summer Kitchen (two sinks, S/S grill, S/S refrigerator) flanks the cockpit. Aft wind blocker in tempered glass. Forward bow table in high-gloss teak with power lift and canvas cover. Hard wing enclosures port and starboard with lower acrylic doors. Sure Shade aft system mounted on hardtop with telescoping poles, and a forward sun shade with poles and storage bag. Cockpit sole is Sea Dek 20mm throughout.
Audio
The JL Audio/Garmin Fusion system is extensively upgraded with custom speaker placement throughout - bow seats, hardtop arch, cockpit, helm tower, and sleigh seat. All amps are JL Audio MVI units with additional battery capacity installed in port-side cabin storage lockers and upgraded battery charger to support the expanded system. JL Audio backlit surface mount speakers with color control are fitted throughout.
Ground Tackle & Safety
Stainless steel anchor windlass with 85' rope / 285' chain combination. Upgraded 12kW Fisher Panda diesel generator (26-gallon fuel tank). Freshwater and raw water washdowns (mid-ship and bow/stern). 24V dual-prop bow thruster. Kahlenberg dual air horn. ACR 100 spotlight with dash-mounted control. Integrated dry bilge system. Sea chest. CE Certification package. Spare props package includes one pair of Mercury 600 dual props plus left and right-hand spares. Full customized spare parts kit (50+ parts). Hull Max clear bottom paint.
