Step aboard Namaste and you’re welcomed into a protected cockpit with a new Iverson dodger, bimini, and full enclosure. Down the companionway, the salon opens up with Catalina’s wide-beam feel and generous seating to port. There’s excellent natural light and plenty of storage throughout. To starboard, the galley is well laid out with a 3-burner stove and oven, deep multi-level refrigeration, and ample dry storage designed for extended cruising. Just aft of the galley is the aft head, easily accessible from the salon and guest cabins Moving forward, the Pullman-style owner’s stateroom to port features a large berth and great storage. The forward head includes an electric toilet and shower, creating a comfortable private suite.

Over the past several years, the owner has re-engineered the electrical system from the ground up. The wiring behind the chart table and electrical panel, an area that is notoriously cluttered on many older boats, has been completely cleaned up and reorganized. Everything is properly labeled, run and tied into positive and negative bus bars. All major power components are brought into a dedicated systems locker.

In 2024, the mast was removed and fully rebuilt, including servicing and replacing sheaves and addressing hardware throughout. At the same time, all standing rigging was replaced. Running rigging has also been updated.

Namaste is powered by a Yanmar 4JHBE 44HP diesel, with 4,500 hours. 

To maximize efficiency and reliability, the boat is equipped with:

• Balmar high-output alternator

• Wakespeed external regulator

• Capable of producing approximately 100 amps at idle

• Dual Racor fuel filtration system

• Dripless shaft seal

• 38-gallon diesel tank

The high-output alternator and external regulator were installed specifically to support the lithium house bank, 

The boat has been hauled regularly over the past decade, with the owner personally maintaining the bottom during prior haul-outs. Keel bolts present clean and in good condition.

A new hot water heater is included and ready for installation.

The anchoring system has been upgraded beyond factory spec. The boat is equipped with an oversized Rocna 25 anchor paired with 150’ of chain. The windlass has been modified to include both up and down controls (factory was down only), along with remote capability.
