Spacious interior for 28' with a large athwartship berth and teak privacy door aft. Double sleeping space in bow with privacy curtain, 2 settee benches also can accommodate an adult. The wet head is aft starboard with manual pump toilet, vanity sink, toiletry cabinet and shower hose. Good ventilation with forward hatch, double opening port & starboard windows (all with screens). The many port windows offer good light and have cabin curtains for privacy.
The gally port side mid-ship offers a single basin stainless steel sink, pressurized hot and cold water, alcohol 2 burner stove and a refrigerated ice box. The centerline, double folding leaf arrangement offers easy passage to bow and can accommodate 5-6 comfortably around the table when dining.
The conventional mainsail has 2 reef points and a mainsail cover (newer 2019). Although original it is serviceable. The furling genoa of 124% is also original and serviceable and has the UV protection stripe. The furling drum is a Hood Seafurl and the boat does have a whisker pole. Sail handling gear includes 2 speed winches, winch handles, rope clutches, boom vang, mainsheet traveler on the coach roof, and a split backstay (adjustable).
The binnacle for wheel steering has a compass and drink holders. A teak cockpit table can be removed and stored inside the boat for winter. Navigation aids of Raymarine depth, speed, masthead windex and VHF radio are installed.
The deck also includes stern rail seats, upper and lower lifelines with opening gates, a sunshade/bimini, winch covers, compass cover, an outboard engine bracket, walk through transom and a telescoping swim ladder.
Creature comforts inside include a 2-burner alcohol stove, refrigerated ice box, single basin stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurized water, cabin shades, overhead hatches, opening ports and mosquito screens.
The boat has 110-volt shore power with shore power cord, navigation lights, deck light, anchor light, interior lights, 12-volt batteries with a master battery switch, battery charger, 12-volt receptacle and electric bilge pump.
Safety gear includes life jackets, dock lines, fenders, air horn, boat hook, flares, fire extinguishers. There is an anchor locker, a single anchor roller, a Bruce anchor with 30' chain and 200' rode. A second anchor "Fortress" also includes 100' rode. The hull below the water line has VC-17 anti fouling paint, last applied June 2025
