Pavel Shaposhnikov Motor Yachts

Pavel Shaposhnikov Design was originally founded in 1981 as a repair yard for small ships. Aside from small ship repair, the company was also developing a brand new yacht construction technology involving carbon-epoxy aluminum sandwich hulls. This new technology, known as NormanBond, became the key to building ultra lightweight hulls for racing.

The first Pavel Shaposhnikov sailboat design was delivered in 1983. It was built using NormanBond technology and as a testament to it's strength and durability, it is now in the hands of it's seventh owner and is still winning local regattas to this day.

Currently, Pavel Shaposhnikov designs are being built at the Norman Yacht Shipyard located in Sumy, Ukraine. Mr. Shaposhnikov has over 300 different yacht designs to his credit and is currently active in the mega and giga luxury yacht market with plans to design and build yachts to 600 feet.

Norman Yacht Shipyard employs anywhere from 30 to 400 dedicated craftsman, depending on the number of orders on hand. The experience and talent of these workers combined with the extensive nautical and engineering background of Mr. Shaposhnikov have resulted in some of the most luxurious, extraordinarily upscale yachts in the world. Yachts suited for royalty with ameneties that most can only dream of.
