This 242 makes room for 10 riders to stay all day on the lake, river or bay. Stretch out in the expansive seating in the cockpit and at the bow. The passenger seat folds down to form a flat lounge seat for basking in the sun. The famed Yamaha transom seats are also upholstered on this boat and have a shower and music controls in easy reach.
The 242 brings the sports tower into the picture. The tower folds down with a turn of a wrench for low bridges and storage. A bimini shade is mounted on the tower for hotter days.
The helm is outfitted with a Garmin GPS-fishfinder, Fusion stereo and a swiveling Captain's chair. SeaDek non-skid flooring is installed throughout the cockpit and on the swim platform. And, the privacy compartment is great for storage, a changing room, or for adding a porta-potty if the new owner so chooses.
The Yamaha is powered by twin 1.8L High Output engines with 360 total HP on the boat.

Condition detail
This Yamaha 242 Limited S is a sporty and stylish boat any owner would be proud of. The upholstery was updated in 2022 and looks great, including the transom seats.
The hull shows some fender scuffing on the high sides and there is some oxidation. Needs a good cleaning and waxing.
Both batteries were replaced in 2024.
The trailer tires are older but show decent treads. The spare appears unused.
