Manufacturer Description
The X-Yachts 33 Powerboat
Officially known as the X-Power 33C, is a 33-foot open weekender launched by the Danish shipyard in 2021. Known for its performance sailboats, X-Yachts designed the 33C to bring its ethos of high quality, performance, and craftsmanship to the powerboat market.
Performance and heritage: X-Yachts developed the 33C by drawing on its 40+ years of experience in high-performance sailing. The goal was to create a powerboat that delivers speed, safety, and excellent handling for quality-conscious boaters.
Patented Petestep® hull: The boat is built with a patented stepped hull technology from Petestep® that increases fuel efficiency by up to 35% and provides a quieter, softer ride. The design also enhances stability both at high speeds and at rest.
Intuitive "Ease of Use" design: The manufacturer emphasizes an intuitive and straightforward experience for owners. With a single push of a button, the boat is ready to operate.
Adaptable cockpit:
An optional carbon fiber hardtop can be added to enclose the wheelhouse for protection against the elements. The cockpit table can also be lowered electrically to convert the seating area into a large sun lounge.
Luxury and comfort: The X-Power 33C is designed to be a comfortable day cruiser or weekend boat with a luxurious interior. The cabin features a double berth, a separate head with a toilet and shower, and ample natural light. The deck can be configured for socializing, with seating for up to 10 people and a sun lounge.
High-quality construction: The boat features a fiberglass hull with a high-end finish. A tribute to the very first X-Yacht sailing boat, the X-79, the first 33C model was delivered with a red hull, and buyers can choose from a variety of color options. High-quality marine upholstery and weatherproof materials selected for durability and comfort year-round.
Spacious cockpit with convertible seating and dining areas laid with synthetic decking
Elegant Scandinavian-style interior with modern galley, enclosed electric head, and comfortable sleeping berth. Top-tier build quality and craftsmanship throughout, true to X-Yachts’ reputation.

CZONE
CZone Control & Monitor system switches power on/off for Navigation displays, refrigeration, lighting, stereo, electrical circuits. Also offer battery management and monitoring among other capabilities such as "Cruising or Unattended" modes.
Digital Switching of Circuits
• Rather than having a bunch of traditional mechanical switches and fuse panels, C-Zone virtualizes circuit control: you can turn on/off loads (lights, fridge, nav electronics, etc.) via its network.
• You can combine multiple circuits under a single “mode” or switch for simpler operation.
Modes / Preset System States
• You can define “Modes” that change multiple circuits at once. For example: a “Cruising” mode could turn on key loads (navigational electronics, bilge, lighting) but leave non-essential ones off.
• Logic can be programmed: e.g., timers, time-of-day switching, or load shedding.
• According to X-Yachts spec for the 33C: there are 3 individual standard modes in their C-Zone system.
Monitoring (Voltage, Tanks, Alarms)
• C-Zone can monitor battery levels / voltages, shore power status, fluid levels (e.g., freshwater, waste), temperature, and more.
• It supports alarm logic: it can alert you to fault conditions (low battery, high temperature, reversed polarity, etc.).

Engine
Single Yanmar 8LV-370HP diesel engine — smooth, quiet, and powerful with excellent fuel economy.
Efficient hull design from X-Yachts’ racing DNA ensures optimal cruising and handling even in choppy Bay waters.
Having a compact but powerful V8 means you get strong cruising speed and immediate acceleration. The weight of the engine is reasonable for the boat’s displacement, helping maintain a good power-to-weight balance and not compromising hull performance. The relatively small displacement of the V8 370 offers a very good power/to/weight ratio for its class.
The broad rev range (down to 550 rpm) gives good low-speed control for docking or slow cruise. The counter-rotating prop offers even more assistance, especially backing to the dock. The bow thruster makes everyone at the helm look like a pro.
Electronically controlled fuel injection + common rail gives fuel efficiency, better responsiveness, and more precise control — important for both economy and performance.

Power & Performance
- Rated output: 272 kW / 370 hp
- Maximum rated speed: 36kts @ 3,600 rpm burning 19gph
- Cruise speed 26kts @ 3000 rpm burning 11.5 gph with range of 170nm
- Low idle (~550 rpm) up to full speed, giving good maneuverability at low speed & high rpm
- 8 cylinders in a V-8 (V-90°) arrangement
- Displacement: 4.46 L (~272 cu in)
- Bore × stroke: 86 mm × 96 mm
Fuel System
- Twin-turbocharged + intercooled — helps deliver strong torque and good power response.
- Uses a common-rail direct injection system (Denso) — more efficient fuel delivery, better emissions, and smoother running.
- Emissions & Certifications
- Meets EPA Tier 3 regulations
- Also certified for EU marine use (“RCD 2”) and EMC compliance.
Electrical / Auxiliary Systems
- Alternator: 12 V, 180 A, which is a healthy alternator output for powering onboard systems.
- Control: Electronic control (not purely mechanical) — which allows for integration with modern vessel control systems.
- The relatively high-capacity alternator helps power the boat’s electrical needs (navigation, systems) even under load.
- Dry weight (without gearbox): ~ 435 kg (959 lb)
- 1,340 mm × 880 mm × 766 mm (engine block envelope
- Water-cooled (fresh water) with sea water pump for cooling.
- Lubrication system: enclosed, forced-lubrication to maintain reliable oil pressure / flow.
- Rubber flexible mounting is used, helping reduce vibration to the hull.
- Glow-plug start-assist system.
- Direction of rotation (crankshaft): counterclockwise when viewed from the flywheel side.
- Compatible with Yanmar’s VC10 Vessel Control System, for integrated control / monitoring from multiple stations.
- Supports joystick control (e.g., with Yanmar’s JC20) which is useful for maneuvering, especially in docking.
