The 3300 enjoys an established and respected reputation by those who know and have owned them. She performs well and provides a comfortable ride in rough seas provided by her deep-V hull. And she provides performance when you need or want it with a cruise of 20 knots and top speed of almost 30 knots.
Her twin inboard v-drive Volvo Penta 8.1 GI 375 hp power arrangement is desirable in this class of boats since most boats of her size are propelled by inboard-outboard power that are not desirable for boats that may live in the water.
Her interiors are stock full of storage locations with ample comfortable seating and berths for six. Her cockpit is also well appointed with a u-shape setee aft w/ removable table, port side first mate seating and a double helm seat. Access to the bow is easy and safe through her walk-through windshield. Her galley is well equipped with a two-burner electric stove, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Engines:
Aug 2025: New risers on starboard engine
Sep 2024: New risers on port engine
2022: Removed from boat. All new pumps, valve jobs, checked injectors, checked exhaust risers, sealed exhaust risers inside with porcelain paint. Replaced all cooling hoses, raw water pumps, raw water hoses in the vessel for the engines and the genset.
Genset 2022: New brushes, removed heads, checked cylinders adjusted valves, new raw water pump assembly, tuned up, new fuel pump and filter.
Air conditioner 2022: Removed complete air conditioner, replaced compressor with larger compressor (went from 12,500 BTU to 13,500 BTU), recharged, checked fans controls, etc. Replaced raw water pump, sea strainer, and plumbed in an exterior T to flush out the system. Saved the old pump, which was good for a spare.
Hot water heater 2022: Removed heat elements and tested them. Replaced thermal overload switches.
Radar and chart plotter 2022: Upgraded to color unit. Kept the old black-and-white unit on the dash as a back-up.
Other improvements 2022: Bilge repainted, new hydraulic engine hatch lift. AGM batteries. West Marine VHF and a galvanic isolation system.
