WOW !! WAYNE BAILEY 42' - UPDATED IN 2025 ** READY TO WORK !!

This WAYNE BAILEY 42 was built by custom boat builder Wayne Bailey in Delmar, Delaware, in 1994. The current owner had the boat redone in 2024/2025.

IT LOOKS AMAZING !!

The boat hull and top decks are constructed with white cedar and encased in West System Epoxy with fiberglass cloth. A non-skid finish has been applied to all walk areas on the top decks and cabin top for proper footing.

The cabin is newly constructed with wood and West System Epoxy with fiberglass cloth. There is an entrance door to the main cabin equipped with a V-berth.

A full-length canopy is also newer and fitted over the aft deck. The canopy frame is constructed with welded aluminum.

The helm is well arranged and equipped with a Furuno 588 depth finder, a Furuno Model TZY13X Radar/GPS/Plotter, an Icom VHF radio, and a handheld spotlight.

To port is a booth style dinette

The boat is powered by a reliable Cummins 6CTA 8.2M diesel engine. The engine is freshwater-cooled. The engine is fitted with a twin disc model 507 1:50:1 ratio transmission with a trolling valve assembly. The engine compartment and bilge look to be very clean for a commercial boat.

The steering system is hydraulic with 3 stations.

The boat is fitted with a newer aluminum fuel tank with a total capacity of 119 gallons.

Condition detail
The boat is in very good condition and priced very well compared to market comps. The Owner has spared no expense in upgrading this boat in 2024/2025 The Owner states - A new owner is getting practically a new boat. So what is new is the wiring, electronics the three station steering the controls, the cables, the Furno fishfinder, the Furno chart plotter, the fusion head unit with amp and speakers, the new 26 foot aluminum canopy, the new frame dredge rig that will be going with that, and the stainless calling board and the stainless boom, and also the winder and Winder and stainless dipper. All this equipment is specific for that boat only. The boat was sprayed with a WL grip snow white paint. The hours on the engine are 1400. I spent up to $20,000 just for this equipment and so forth this Spring 2025 DON'T WAIT ON THIS ONE. IT WILL BE ON THE WATER WITH A NEW OWNER !!
