PERCEPTION, A Wauquiez Kronos 45 is a 1990s 45-foot catamaran designed by Henri Wauquiez, known for its focus on comfort, luxury, and excellent construction akin to monohulls, often featuring a 4-cabin/4-head layout with amenities like separate air conditioning solar panels, and a full galley with a gas stove and refrigerator. It was the first multihull from the Wauquiez yard, aiming to bring the company's high-quality monohull construction standards to the catamaran market.
Forward most in each keel is a single berth followed by a double berth; next aft and outboard on both sides are guest/day HEADS; following aft along the keels are doors to the AFT CABINS, each featuring double berth, two hanging lockers, built-in seating and ensuite heads. Center area features a huge wrap-around DINETTE with two tables; GALLEY is located aft to port, with large 'sore thumb' countertop on centerline; starboard side is given to roomy cockpit access door. Hanging lockers and storage are built-in throughout. Interior is in light-colored hard maple accented with white headliners & upholstered walls plus navy Alacantara cushions at the dinette. Overall a very light and spacious feel aboard.
Bright 'UP' GALLEY features light grey 'granite'-look Corian countertops; 4 burner propane stove with oven & gas safety solenoid; engine and 12VDC driven refrigeration freezer unit; 12VDC bar fridge unit; pressure water system plus fresh and salt water foot pumps; hot water heater.
