Summary
Please Note: Recent Survey (5-28-25) Available Upon Request This 1978 Vineyard Vixen (#27) was purchased by current owner in 2006 and brought to Lake Charlevoix, Michigan at that time. She was then optimized for short handed sailing with the addition of the Hoyt Jib Boom System and new sails.
Accommodations and Layout

There is a V-Berth forward that will sleep two. The waste holding tank is under the berth and forward. There is a ventilation deck hatch above. The head compartment is to port and please note that the head is currently uninstalled but available to be sold with the boat. There is a stainless steel sink with manual water pump outboard of the head location. There is a cedar lined storage locker to starboard with a hanging dowel. The flooring is teak and holly. There are 6 opening portlights. The main salon consists of port and starboard settee berths for a total of 3 berths, one double V and the two salon berths. Note that there are cushions for all berths but only the starboard settee berth cushion was aboard at the time of the photos. The galley area has a single stainless steel sink with hand pump and an icebox. The ice box is designed to be accessed from the cockpit as well but this hatch is sealed shut. There is a 3 step stair to the cockpit with easy engine access behind. The main electrical distribution panels are above the galley. There is plenty of storage though out the interior for a vessel of this size. The cockpit features two large deep lockers and one after storage locker as well.
