Layout/Accommodations
The 5 Stateroom layout conceived and executed by Viking on their 82 convertible is the envy of the industry. Highlights include a full beam master suite aft, a centerline queen berth forward; (2) guest suites amidship (port has queen berth; starboard has twin lower berths) and an upper and lower berth cabin to port. Each suite features a private head with stall shower, and each stateroom has a TV. All the head ceilings are mirrored. The vanities are granite, liberal use of custom flooring, wall coverings, and teak trim is evident in this totally upgraded interior.
On the main deck, the expansive salon/galley/dinette configuration offers living space usually seen on larger motor yachts. In addition, a convenient day head is concealed aft to starboard, and the handy and functional forward utility room can accommodate an additional crew member or a custom berth. Access to the mezzanine and cockpit is to starboard via an electric sliding door.
The galley is forward to starboard and features a walk around island with 3 bar stools, all under counter refrigeration, concealed sliding and door storage, full appliance package including 4 burner cooktop, compactor, microwave/convection oven, disposal, and dish washer. The dinette is forward to port and the entertainment center with 50” pop up TV is opposite. Additional seating and large coffee/cocktail table complete this luxurious salon area.
