Beautifully styled, like all Vikings yachts, the 42 has a well-appointed salon featuring an L-Shaped lounge, a Teak cocktail table, covered valances, and a surround-sound entertainment system with a flat screen TV. The dinette is a step above the carpeted sole with wrap-around seating and a teak dining table. Viking offers the 42 with a choice of layouts, The "Hawk Tuna" has the standard two stateroom, two head floor plan with an island queen forward and upper and lower bunks on the port side, and two heads with showers. It has a mid-level galley with bar stool seating and a galley forward in the salon. A mezzanine deck overlooks the cockpit complete with a rocket launcher. With 122 sq. ft. of space, the cockpit is more than ample for fishing. The mezzanine features hinged ultra leather seating with stowage below and has an optional freezer, this is also where you have engine room access under a hatch that leads directly to the compartment.
