1973 Uniflite Sport! Rare Opportunity. Upgrades throughout & impressive twin Cummins 5.9L Cummins 12v Turbo Diesel motors!
Introducing a beautiful 1973 Uniflite Sportfish. The 31' Uniflite was originally built for the U.S Navy to be their brown water patrol boat. The hulls were constructed with fire retardant fiberglass and overbuilt to handle any type of environment. When built for the public, it was the same exact build as they had for the Navy. These Uniflite boats are made to last multiple generations.
This 31' Uniflite has been upgraded to meet the needs of today's users that older boats simply don't have. There are updated USB outlets included in the 120v outlets, powered from either shore power or the included 4,000w inverter. Entertainment includes two AM/FM stereos with Bluetooth
Updates: All gauges have been installed at the Helm and Fly bridge. All 12v wiring, breaker panels, marine switches with plug chargers and battery charge levels.
LED lighting has been added, including internal lights, navigation lights, multicolor "Twilight" lights in the V-berth, & floodlights at the bow and stern
The hull has newer Top Line marine paint and non-skid paint on the decking. Eight new 12v batteries (2 motor, 6 "house batteries) and a 4,000w inverter have been installed.
Accommodations are also impressive for an older boat. The interior layout can sleep up to 6, including the V-berth, bunk beds and the convertible table settee. A 50-gallon freshwater tank supplies the boat's water and the galley includes a Refrigerator with a freezer. The head has also been redone with an updated interior to include a refurbished toilet.
Possibly the most impressive feature on this Uniflite is the twin Cummins engines. These impressive 5.9L Cummins 12 valve turbo diesel engines provide more than enough power. Twin 70-gallon fuel tanks are included.
The 1973 Uniflite Sportfish remains a popular choice among classic boat enthusiasts and sportfishing aficionados for its combination of performance, comfort, and classic design. This 31' is no exception and ready for its next owner.
