The SEAHORSE 31 is a unique craft that combines all the qualities of a fine yacht with the capability of a work boat. Its large aft cockpit can be fitted with a commercial fish hold, with rod stations to accommodate fishing parties, or a cushioned hatch cover for just plain lounging around. With a stern door and swim platform it makes an ideal dive boat.
A cockpit sink that doubles as a fish cleaning station and an ice chest that can be plumbed for a live bait tank is standard.

most ruggedly built yacht of its size in the world so as to provide many years of carefree pleasure or commercial service. There is
no other yacht like it on the market. Several of these rugged yachts are in use as commercial fishermen off the northern California coast having received their U.S.C.G. certification. With its powerful 80 Horsepower Ford Lehman diesel engine the SEAHORSE 31 cruises at 8? knots with top speed of 10 knots. It has a range in excess of 500 nautical miles with its tankage of 150 gallons of fuel. Additional fuel tankage can be provided for as an option. The inherent seaworthiness of this ruggedly built trawler yacht makes long distance ocean passages feasible while its dependable power plant provides many thousands of hours of breakdown-free service.
The SEAHORSE 31 is built under inspection and certification of the American Bureau of Shipping and exceeds Lloyd's requirements. Hull construction is of solid fiberglass laminate of 1 1/2 oz mat and 24 oz Roven Woven. All stringers and bulkheads are heavily bonded to the hull to provide a massive structure for a yacht this size. The superstructure is of moulded fiberglass laminate, as are the decks, to make a one-piece watertight unit that is leak-proof. The forward and side decks are of teak planking laid in thiokol over fiberglass while the upper and aft decks are fiberglass with a non-skid finish for easy washdown cleaning. The all-teak interior is hand-crafted and finely finished to yacht standards. The forward and main cabin soles are beautifully done in teak parquet. All deck fittings and hardware are either stainless or bronze.
