The Transpac 49 Mark II was built in Taiwan by the Transpacific Marine Company Ltd. The boats were built for ocean cruising and offer a strong hull construction of solid hand laid fiberglass. The interior layout offers a huge main cabin, large galley, aft master stateroom, two guest cabins, two head compartments with showers and a workroom adjacent to the engine. The Transpac 49s were introduced in 1976 and were in production until 2004. The Transpac Mark II series offers an excellent value in the genre of family blue water cruisers.�
