If you have been searching for a proper Tartan 4300 blue water yacht, you found it! Gorgeous inside and out with the quality and craftsmanship that Tartan is known for. Traditional styling coupled with a hull and rig that are designed to deliver optimal cruising performance all in a very easy way to sail yacht are the hallmarks of the 2008 Domestic Boat of the Year and Best Midsized Luxury Cruiser winning Tartan 4300 design. On the surface, the 4300 has all the design elements of classic American yacht design. Graceful sheer-line, balanced overhangs, complimentary low coach roof, sweeping cockpit coamings and thoughtful convenience details on deck all give the 4300 a very classic profile. Moku Hale has had only two (2) owners with the second one buying her in 2011 from the previous owner of Tartan Yachts. She can easily be sailed by one with her carbon "Cruise Control Rig" Self Tacking 95% Jib and "Pocket Boom" or the 150% Reacher sail for lighter air. The current owner has enjoyed sailing in 4 of the 5 Great Lakes. She is well equipped for Great Lakes cruising. Overview
Master Stateroom and Head
Forward of the main salon is the owner's stateroom with ensuite head. Richly appointed with cherry wood cabinetry, Ultra Leather cushion, cedar lined hanging locker and 4
drawers under the bed. The Centerline Queen bed is easy to get on and off. The forward water tank is stored under the bed. There are two (2) large hatches and a third smaller hatch
with Oceanair Sky Screens and Shades, Two (2) opening ports with screens and an oscillating fan for ventilation. The head is located on the port side as you enter the
cabin. Cherry wood cabinetry with Granicote counter and sink. There is a separate shower stall with sliding door, Manual flush head with tank monitor. Y-valve for holding
tank/direct discharge. Two (2) opening ports and a smaller hatch with Oceanair Screen and Shade for ventilation.

Salon
The salon has a U-shaped dinette to port with the settee to starboard. The solid cherry wood cabinetry, teak tongue and grove cabin sole and Ultra Leather coverings, presents
itself as a warm, inviting, comfortable place to hang out. The 2-leaf folding cherry table is in the middle of the salon, and can accommodate seating for 6 comfortably, when the
leaves are folded out. The dinette can sleep 2 with the insert cushion and the settee is good for one. Her Ultra Leather cushions are plush, comfortable and maintenance free.
The Samsung 23" Flat Screen DVD / TV is mounted on the starboard side. 3 sub floor compartments for storage, a wine rack in the aft port side cabinet and table, stereo
system in the aft starboard side cabinet, 2 cabin fans, storage behind the dinette. The 60 gallon fuel tank is under the starboard side settee with a 60-gallon water tank under
the port side dinette. AC/Heat controls are on the starboard side forward bulkhead. All six (6) opening ports have metal screens and the two (2)cabin hatches have Oceanair Screens and
Shades.

Galley and Guest Head
The L-shaped galley is on the port side, just forward of the Nav Station and aft of the U-shaped Salon Table. There are ample Cabinets and Drawers for storage, lots of
counter space and a top and front-loading Freezer/Frig. The cherry wood Cabinetry and Granicote Counter Tops and Sinks give her a rich, warm and secure feeling.
The guest head is across from the galley on the starboard side with access from the main cabin as well as the guest aft cabin, Granicote sink, Cherry wood vanity, manual
flush head with holding tank monitor, macerator pump (thru-haul used for genset), and Y-valve for holding tank. Shower stall with custom seat and locker, and an opening
port.

Aft Guest Stateroom and Nav Station
Coming down the companionway stairs the aft cabin is located to starboard, just aft of the guest head. There is a queen size athwartships bunk, cedar-lined hanging locker
and 3 smaller cabinets. There is access to the guest head from the cabin. There are three (3) opening ports with metal screens as well as a small opening hatch with Oceanair Sky
Screen and Shade, and an oscillating cabin fan for ventilation. The AC/Heat Control is mounted near the hanging locker. Access to the thru-hull fittings for the head is through
a cabinet under the bunk. There is also access to the back of the engine from the aft cabin. Under the bunk are a 20 gal holding tank, engine, gen set, and house batteries.
Along the aft bulkhead is a large cherry door access panel to the DC gen set and steering quadrant. The well-appointed 3-sided corner Nav Station is just aft of the Galley. The engine,
house and Thruster battery switches are located down on the left side of the chart table. The controls for the DC generator are located there as well. There is a comfortable Ultra
Leather adjustable Nav Chair. The AC/DC Panel is on the left panel, with a storage place for a laptop with a/c outlet. The middle panel is a storage area for the boat manuals, the lower
panel is for the VHF, and Internet cable for your computer as well as a large opening chart table. On the far-right panel, are a stand-alone Raymarine C-120W chart plotter, light, fuel
and 2-water tank gauges and XINTEX propane detector gauge are all mounted. The gen set panel is to the left of nav station. There are also another three (3) additional drawers for
storage. Above are a smaller opening hatch with Oceanair Sky Screen and Shade as well as an opening port with metal screen.

This yacht once traveled the boat show circuit where Tartan showcased this vessel at both the Annapolis and Chicago Boat Shows, among others. The current owners purchased this Tartan 4300 from the former owner of Tartan Yachts (his personal boat). Moku Hale reflects pride of ownership throughout - being supremely well-maintained, clean, and in like-new condition! New Flag Blue Awl-Craft painted hull was completed in early 2025. Hardtop dodger and full enclosure added. New aft A/C unit installed late 2024 along with new batteries. Pocket Boom rebuilt in 2024. Toe rails re-varnished. Recent survey in 2024.
