HALLOUMI is a rarely-available Tartan 38, based on the legendary Sparkman & Stephens-designed Tartan 37 but with a deep-draft fin keel and perforated aluminum toe rail.. She is available because her owner recently purchased a powerboat. A quick sail is desired. Three-year-old pre-purchase survey is available. All reasonable offers will be considered.
Sleeps five/six. V berth with filler forward. Enclosed head next aft to port with Jabsco manual toilet and vanity, hanging locker opposite to starboard. Main cabin with settees port and starboard. Port settee converts to form double berth. Pilot berth to starboard. Bulkhead-mounted table with leaf. Nav station and quarterberth next aft to port, galley opposite to starboard.
U-shaped galley features GSI stainless steel, three-burner, propane stove with oven, double stainless steel sinks with cold pressurized water. 12 volt refrigerated ice box.
12 volt DC and 110 volt dockside AC systems. 12 volt system includes two Group 31 lead acid batteries, Blue Seas breaker panel, battery selector switch, engine-mounted alternator, Professional Mariner Pro Nautic 12-30P battery charger, xantrex LinkPRO voltage monitor, two 100 watt and one 175 watt solar panels and Renology Rover PG 30 amp charge controller. AC dockside system includes Blue Sea Systems breaker panel, 30 amp shore power cord.
Raymarine E80 chartplotter/GPS, Raymarine ST6002 autopilot, two Standard Horizon VHF's, Raymarine ST60+ apparent wind direction/speed instrument (not working), Raymarine ST60 depthsounder, Ritchie pedestal-mounted compass.
Yanmar 3GM30F three-cylinder, fresh-water-cooled diesel engine with approximately 3,900 hours. Two-blade bronze folding propeller.
Fin keel with skeg-hung rudder. Bow anchor roller, Edson pedestal wheel steering. Double lifelines. Stern-mounted stainless steel swim ladder with teak treads. 8 opening ports, two opening overhead hatches. Two cabintop clamshell vents, two cabintop dorade vents. Electric anchor windlass.
Keel-stepped mast with two sets of spreaders. Harken genoa roller-furling system. Navtec hydraulic backstay adjuster. Sail inventory includes:mainsail with four battens and two sets of reef points, genoa (2022), working jib, spinnaker. Lewmar winch inventory includes two #48 self-tailing genoa sheet primary winches, one cabintop-mounted #16, and two cabintop #10 winches, line clutches, Harken mid-boom mainsheet traveler, long and block-controlled solid boom vang.
Cockpit dodger and bimini, folding cockpit table with leaves, Rocna 20 anchor with chain spare Danforth-type anchor. Two portable air conditioning units. Assorted docklines and fenders. Fire extinguishers.
