Owner's Comments & Recent Upgrades

The owner's wife is an adventurous, but reluctant sailor, so the owner spared no expense on upfitting Sleighride to make her as reliable, safe, and fun to sail as possible! She has just undergone an extensive professional refit by the storied production facility of Pacific Seacraft sailing yachts, builders of some of the finest blue water sailboats in the world, based in Washington, NC. Her interior is varnished to a beautiful and almost mirror like finish and must be seen to be appreciated.
The improvements she enjoys are many:

  • Brand new Beta Marine 35 diesel - less than 15 hours
  • Brand New Lofrans Tigress Windlass
  • Brand New B&G Marine Zeus Chartplotter / GPS with autopilot, radar, and wind instruments - state of the art.

  • New house battery bank
  • New stainless steel lifelines
  • Fresh bottom paint - bottom is currently cleaned monthly.
