Flying Cloud is a exceptional Performance/Cruiser, which offers a big-boat-feel, in 28 feet of boat. On any point of sail, you will never tire of her balanced design. With a high freeboard design...below deck is open and spacious, providing six feet of headroom throughout the main salon. (7) opening ports and (2) opening hatches allow for great ventilation and lots of light. The V-berth is comfortable for a couple, and the quarter berth is also spacious...if needed, there is a slide-out settee double berth in the main salon. The interior teak woodwork is clean and rich with hand rubbed oil, along with the classic teak and holly cabin sole. The galley and head have pressurized water, and the galley sink also has a foot pump. The icebox is deep and well insulated...with a teak grating shelf and separate drainage. The Gimbaled Stove is CNG with two top burners. Access to the engine is excellent for standard maintenance, and there is an engine pan to prevent fluids from leaking into the bilge. The bilge is very clean, no smells. Flying Cloud is a pleasure to sail...her fin keel with spade rudder lets her turn on a dime. She is easy to set into a groove, on any point of sail. The reverse transom also helps to keep her stable when running downwind...New Garmin Chartplotter and Radar installed 2025, other electronics include; Depth, Temp and Speed, Autopilot, VHF, plus solar panels....batteries new 2025. Routine maintenance on the 18 hp Yanmar diesel performed every season. 'Flying Cloud' edged out some top local racers, in last year's Cape Ann Challenge, as the Overall Winner....she is a wonderful boat inside and out...and a lot of fun to sail.
