Much of the reason is because the 195's ride on Stingray's next-generation Z-Plane hull. Hull refinements include special contours to the running surface that extend beneath both sides of the integrated swim platform and create virtually three-point contact with the water at high speeds. The hull performs so well that these boats surpass 60 mph with merely a V-6 sterndrive for power! The competition needs a V-8 to achieve the same mark.
