2004 Stingray 180RX

With a retail price of only $9,995, our 2004 180RX proves that boating can still be affordable. Designed for the price-conscious boater who wants a reliable, good-performing boat, but doesn't want to pay for all the frills, the 180RX is the answer.

The 180RX rides on our patented Z-Plane hull, which has proven through independent third-party tests to produce better than average performance. It is rated to carry up to seven passengers or 1,070 pounds, so we built in plenty of storage compartments bow to stern, including a massive floor compartment with an oversize door for large items and easy access. All-weather marine grade carpeting is used throughout and the upholstery is premium 32-ounce vinyl with special foam backing for added comfort and resilience.

Twin adjustable bucket seats face the dash, with a full-width aft bench and large sundeck. Additional passengers can lounge in the open bow. At the helm you'll find a full range of high quality backlit instruments and accessory switches. There's even a 12-volt receptacle to operate your accessories. For added richness the instrument panel features an attractive woodgrain trim.

Powering the 180RX is a fuel-efficient 135 hp Volvo Penta 3.0-liter GLSX sterndrive that propels the boat to maximum speeds in the mid to high 40 mph range depending on the number of passengers and gear.
