Accommodations and layout

The interior of the Stamas 320 consists of a main cabin (6'4" headroom) with mid ship dinette to port with a V berth forward, with galley to starboard, and the head/shower abaft the galley. Aft is a full beam mid cabin with a single/double berth depending on crew member(s) size). The ergonomically laid out galley features: a microwave oven, Isotherm AC/DC refrigerator, single Origo 2500E burner stove (AC or alcohol) and sink and countertop in composite material. The electric head drains into a 5 gallon plastic holding tank. Also in the enclosed head is a sink, vanity and handheld shower.

There is a Cruisair conditioning/heating below (currently Shore power only*). All cushions for V berth and aft cabin were reupholstered in 2020 with Sunbrella. Teak and holly sole, The dinette and teak table can convert to a berth. The boat can accommodate 4 adults in comfort and ease, and up to 6 if children are aboard.

115 volt AC GFCI outlets in cabin and head. The water tank holds 40 gallons and the water heater (via AC or port engine heat exchanger) heats 5 gallons.

Ambient ventilation is provided by a overhead Bomar hatch and screen and 4 opening ports (also with screens). New tan Sunbrella curtains shade the ports. Hanging locker to port adjacent to companionway. There is ample stowage for provisions and gear.

The companionway leads up to the bridge deck and a spacious cockpit. The bridge deck has instruments and helm bench to starboard. First mate's bench is to port. The helm benches and rear facing seats in cockpit were reupholstered 2020 with marine grade vinyl. There is an electronics box above beneath the hardtop and the full canvas bridge enclosure (the forward sections and above the windshield had new Strataglass in 2024).

The non skid side decks lead forward with stainless steel handrails and bow rail/pulpit. Cleats are recessed stainless steel.

Stepping down to the spacious cockpit there are:

  • A tackle center
  • A sink and freshwater handheld shower
