2012 Southwind 229L Hybrid. Serviced and Maintained. Ready for the Water.
This Southwind boat is a great platform for fun day on the water. The boat is rated up to 12 passengers and has plenty of room and seating. The boat has a layout like an aluminum pontoon, but has the added advantage of having a fiberglass hull and easy to clean gel coat deck.
There are two bimini tops to keep you in the shade. There is plenty of storage under the seats and in the center of the hull. There is a changing area to the aft of the boat, that is large enough for a porta-potty if you desire
The captain has nice bucket seat a full array of gauges and switches. The boat is equipped with a Garmin for plotting and for reading depth. The is also a stereo onboard and speakers fore and aft.
The Suzuki 4-stroke engine has approximately 350 hours and has been regularly serviced.

Condition detail
The boat stays covered to protect if from the sun. Overall the boat could use a detail to bring it back to its glory. The fiberglass hull and deck look to be in good condition. The aluminum panels have some damage in the port aft corner.
The cushions show signs of sunburn and cracking, however they are still useable. The helm looks to be in nice condition. The engine cowl has some scratches and scrapes.
The boat was bottom painted a little more than a year ago.
