The Honda BF150 will push this South Bay along swiftly with a top speed of around 37mph.
The large Lifting Strakes and Reinforced Splash Fins allow the 224 to jump on plane with little effort. South Bays are known for their performance and smooth ride. You will love passing by center consoles on a choppy day, as they look at you in awe, wishing they had the same smooth ride.
The FCR is a Fish and Cruise model. This layout includes 2 Pedestal Fishing Seats aft w/ a Livewell/Tackle Station between the seats. There are rod holders for trolling on the tackle station and vertical rod holders for storage while running to your next spot. The front 3/4 of the boat is set up for cruising with ample seating and storage.
This South Bay 224 has a Stainless Steel Steering Wheel w/ Power Knob on a Hydraulic Tilt Helm
The owner installed a Stainless Magma Gas Grill on a pedestal. The grill is removable and has a nice carry bag to transport it.
She comes with a full snap on cover that has poles to keep it from sagging. The cover is vented to allow things to stay dry inside.

All South Bays have pressurized toons that add strength and rigidity to the pontoons. The pressurized toons also help to resist denting, so if you bump a piling they are less likely to dent.
