The 2008 ShearWater X2200 is a high-performance center console bay boat designed for serious shallow-water fishing.
Feature 250 Mercury Pro XS 250 780 hours, full custom cover and Ameritrail torsion axle trailer. Custom T Top, Bob's Jack plate, twin power poles, Boss stereo and speakers, Garmin GPS fish finder, on board charger, trolling motor, detachable swim ladder. New cushions. Everything works.
Built to bridge the gap between a flats boat and a bay boat, its "X" designation signifies its crossover capabilities. It is constructed with a solid triple-hull design, consisting of an outer hull, an inner liner, and a top cap, which are chemically bonded for a dry and solid ride. The boat is built to NMMA standards and features a Pad-Vee hull that allows it to achieve speeds nearing 70 mph when equipped with the maximum 250 horsepower.
In terms of dimensions, the 2008 ShearWater X2200 measures 21 feet, 8 inches in length with an 8-foot, 2-inch beam. With a dry weight of approximately 1,800 pounds and a 56-gallon fuel capacity, it is robust enough to handle larger bays but is also designed to operate in less than a foot of water.
