In terms of performance, the 270 Sundeck has a top speed of 47.5 mph when powered by a 300-hp Mercury XL Verado Pro outboard. Fuel burn at that speed is 29.8 gph. At 3500 rpm, the boat will do 27 mph while burning 9.4 gph and getting 2.9 mpg. At 4000 rpm, speed is 31.1 and fuel burn is 11.8 gph (2.6 mpg). The above numbers were provided by Sea Ray.
