When she was introduced in 1985 the Sea Ray 460 Express Cruiser reigned supreme as the largest full-production sport yacht on the market. With her aggressive, low-profile appearance and reversed arch her appeal was such that the 460 became a very good-selling model for Sea Ray. She rides on a solid fiberglass hull with prop pockets and a wide 14-foot, 11-inch beam. This boat follows the Plan B design. Introduced in 1988, with a new single-stateroom floorplan with a single head, resulting in a much larger salon with two conversation areas (as well as a wet bar and built-in entertainment center) and a huge bow stateroom. Outside, the big bi-level cockpit is arranged with double helm and companion seats forward and a foldaway bench seat at the transom. Large hatches in the bridge deck floor provide good access to the engines.
Additional features include wide side decks, teak covering boards, transom door, swim platform, and side dumping exhausts. Twin 375hp Cat diesels cruise the 460 Express at 20 knots (mid 20s top). Drive shafts and props have been changed recently and the windlass has been replaced. Brand new carpet throughout the cabin, along with new cockpit flooring. The cockpit upholstery is in excellent condition, with all new canvas to fully cover the spacious cockpit. Only minutes away from the University of Alabama, at Eagles Cove Marina. Westerbeke 11kw generator runs great and has very low hours
