The 400 Sea Ray Express features a two stateroom interior with overnight accomodations for six. The master stateroom forward includes a pedestal island queen size berth, overhead hatch, hanging locker and privacy door. A circular pocket door closes off the starboard stateroom, with a full size berth and convertible upper berth. The enclosed head is to port with a marine toilet, wash basin, separate shower stall, cabinet, mirror, and overhead hatch. Salon is light and airy with a circular settee to starboard. On deck, a double helm seat is forward to starboard in the cockpit, while a U shape seating aft converts to a sunpad. There is an extended swim platform with stainless rail.
