The hull is the same, but the styling is all new, and both the cockpit and interior layouts are modified as well. Sleek hullside windows not only admit more natural lighting into the cabin; they also have the visual effect of lowering the 260's considerable freeboard. Below decks, the cabin layout is similar to most midcabin boats this size. A dinette/V-berth is forward followed by a small galley with microwave and refrigerator, and a standup head with sink and shower. The cockpit features an aft bench seat that converts to a sun pad, port lounger, beverage holders, and a double-wide helm seat with reversible backrest. A single 300hp MerCruiser I/O will cruise at 24-26 knots (mid 30s top).
