Cockpit with molded seats, storage below seating, built-in coolers/storage lockers.

The Sea Ray 240 Sundeck is a good-time sport boat for the family and plenty of friends. It has an extraordinary amount of passenger space, storage capacity, and standard equipment. With its stable platform, deep-V hull design and high gunwales, the 240 Sundeck has met every USCG, NMMA and ABYC standard for safety. It's also passed stringent flotation requirements, ensuring the craft is stable and secure for passengers of all ages, even when the water's a little on the rough side. Besides safety, Sea Ray put just as much effort into the family-oriented styling and features on the 240 Sundeck. The spacious cockpit seating plan accommodates up to ten people with swivel bucket helm and a portside L-shaped, wrap-around lounger with storage below, and molded seating in the bow area. An optional forward convertible cockpit table with filler cushions can be added to provide ample room for sunbathing in the bow. And as expected with any boat designed for good times, the cockpit also features a wet bar with carry-on cooler and dedicated storage, a built-in insulated ice chest in the bow, a standard cockpit table plus plenty of beverage holders conveniently placed throughout the boat. A standard pressure water system makes cleaning up a cinch with a pull-out sprayer at the wet bar and a transom shower, too. And the fully enclosed standup head with lockable acrylic door is still the largest in the industry. Extra guests mean extra gear. So, the lit starboard dash storage, a hinged ski locker with gas-assisted lift, and a ski and kneeboard storage in the floor provide all the space needed to take on the extra load without cluttering the cockpit walkways. And what family sport boat would be complete without a premium sound system That's why Sea Ray installed a standard Clarion AM-FM digital cassette stereo with four waterproof speakers and a cockpit remote control - and a stereo that can actually be heard, thanks to the sound-insulated engine compartment. The 240 Sundeck also has a standard three-piece tinted curved glass windshield with starboard wiper, Bimini top with vinyl backing, boot and vertical top storage to keep the ride comfortable at all times. An optional forward Bimini top is also available. Whether the plan is fishing, skiing, swimming or cruising, the Sea Ray 240 Sundeck was built to please with integral swim platforms, ladders, and grab handles at both the bow and the stern. The wide bow swim platform has a ladder that retracts into its own concealed compartment for a neat appearance, and clutter-free dock access. It's also large enough to double as a casting platform. The transom area features a stainless-steel rail with integral tow eye for skiers. Even with a boat full of guests and gear, the standard 220 horsepower 5.0L Alpha stern drive ensures the 240 Sundeck has plenty of power to spare for an exhilarating run. An optional add-on swim platform increases the usable space while providing extra room for engine access. The Sea Ray 240 Sundeck comes with a choice of graphics in red, blue, green, or black and gold packages. Other standard features include a durable seamless fiberglass cockpit liner and snap-in carpet, automatic bilge pump, electric bilge blower, power tilt and trim, power steering, custom Sea Ray backlit instrumentation, engine alarms, Lowrance 3500 depth finder, and more. The 240 Sundeck can be customized with a wide range of options to create an unforgettable family boating experience.
