"ANOMALY" is a Santa Cruz 50 designed by Bill Lee Racing Yachts and built in Soquel, CA.
The yacht has kept her original characteristics from the designer and also optimized for the Pacific Northwest. With an extra deep keel and taller mast, and deep custom rudder. the boat excels in light air upwind. Oversized carbon fiber pole and oversized asymmetric spinnaker provide excellent down wind performance and surfing in heavy air.
The interior is all original with modern updates. The engine is center mounted in the boat to optimize longitudinal stability. Center island with extra counter space and storage. Beautiful Bruynzeel mahogany plywood throughout. Furnace, electric head, hot water heater, large refrigerator, and microwave. Warm LED lighting through out.
Recent major refit includes all new carbon fiber racing sails, new running rigging, new sail drive, and new electronics and more. Every system has been replaced or improved with no expense spared. She is up to today's standards for Puget Sound and Offshore racing and also capable of comfortable cruising.
