This 1979 Sabre 28-2 Sailboat is here in our yard and is now available for viewing.

This Sabre is one of the company's most popular models. Sailed and kept only in fresh water for its life, this 28' vessel has been kept in good running order. Also, this sailboat is running well on her reliable, original Volvo diesel motor (12 Hp.) that has recently been serviced. The cockpit of the Sabre 28 is large, maneuverable and comfortable with cockpit lockers to keep gear right at your fingertips. Thanks to the wheel steering system, the cockpit is spacious enough to easily seat five.

The Sabre's interior has a 5 berth layout with an enclosed head. Also, the cabin is spacious with a 6' headroom, a large settee and convenient galley. Additionally, this model supplies ample storage for bulky items and gear. This Sabre's Teak was recently stripped and sealed, showing beautifully against the Imron paint on the hull. Also, the cockpit and interior cushions have been replaced. In addition, this 28' sailboat also had all new winches (2 Jib, 2 Halyard), along with a new vang strut installed in 2022. Additionally, the stereo speakers were recently replaced as well. Sabre sailboats are known for their quality along with their ability to hold their value astonishingly well, even decades later.
