2012 Riviera 50 Sport Yacht

"CONTESSA" is a 2012 two stateroom sport yacht express design with Zeus pod and Cummins power. She is fast, economical and extremely well built and laid out. Her large aft cockpit area is very comfortable for a large party with full beam aft sofa lounge area and large L shape settee. The entire cockpit area is teak decked with entertainment wet bar, ice maker, and garage style center console dingy storage. At the push of a couple buttons the transom door lifts hydraulically to reveal the center console dingy and descending swim platform ideal for launching and recovering the dingy or simply enjoying swimming and diving activities with simple access back to the boat. Zeus pods provide joy stick control of engines and transmissions allowing a novice to operate this vessel like a pro. The pods provide excellent economy and performance and propel this vessel to speeds in excess of 30 knots with minimal sound levels and very low gallon per hour fuel consumption.

The main salon is on-deck as is the galley and helm station. The hardtop roof features a very large electrically activated sun roof that when open provides fantastic fresh air without the wind or noise common on express models. The salon and galley are fitted with factory glass and stem ware, plates and dishes, as well as high gloss cherry woods and custom designed interior fabrics and upholstery.

Below deck the lower salon is arranged with a sofa that converts to two bunks. There is a TV built into the wall that will serve both the lower salon and forward master stateroom. The master cabin is ensuite with head and shower. The VIP stateroom is mid ship with a queen berth as well as a single third sleeping position. There are berths for seven! The guest head is in the companion-way and serves both guest sleeping areas as well as day head uses.

This boat includes the optional two stateroom/two head plus lounge. The layout is very desirable as it includes the same accommodation as the three stateroom layout yet includes the lounge which converts into double Pullman berths. This configuration provides you with another entertainment area below, perfect if you have children or grandchildren. Alternatively, it provides a welcome parents’ retreat. The Master Stateroom is spacious and bright and features a walk-around queen-sized bed with innerspring mattress. Under-bed storage, overhead cabinets and other storage and cedar lined hanging lockers accommodate everything you need for extended voyages. Located aft is the full beam VIP guest cabin that is also extremely comfortable and well laid-out with a double and single berth, and little touches like the cedar lining in the hanging lockers tell of the attention to detail that has gone into the design.
