Introducing the world class Riva 44 Rivarama "Special K", for the discerning yacht buyer prepared to take advantage of the seller's obsessive attention to detail in upgrading and renewing this second owner Riva. This vessel embodies Riva's legendary class and craftsmanship and is truly a work of art, which has been the owner's labor of love, producing this singular opportunity to own a better than new Riva 44 Rivarama.
The current owner just finished a multi-year restoration which included a complete hull repaint. The owner went to great lengths to restore and perfect the boat, stripping the hull and deck to bare fiberglass and replacing the original less durable low VOC Italian paint with high quality Awlgrip HD paint, which required all hardware to be removed and polished before reinstall, painted with Awlgrip HD paint and multiple layers of Awlgrip HD clear coat. At the same time the foredeck and side decks were replaced with a new Riva factory supplied Mahogany and Alderwood deck, which was then finished with multiple coats of varnish followed by 20 coats of clear, to prevent any future degradation. All exterior courtesy lighting was replaced with LED, and the navigation lights were replaced with new modern fixtures.
Mechanically the 1,000-hour mechanical service was just completed (only 750 original hours total), featuring NEW factory aftercoolers and heat exchangers (not rebuilt) to ensure top-tier performance, in another example of the preventative maintenance this yacht receives. The boat also boasts a new Fusion stereo system with multiple amps and subwoofers for superb sound in the outside areas. Features include a new Bimini top, new upholstery, removable aft sunshade and updated electronics including a removable wireless radar and new Boening screens for the engine and vessel gauges.
Powered by twin MAN R6-800 CRM Common Rail diesels, this vessel stands out as one of the finest brokerage Rivas available today, anywhere in the world.
