Nearly perfect 2016 R27 Classic. She has always been kept in a covered berth and the gelcoat is in excellent condition. She has been regularly polished and waxed. Nothing is sun damaged or faded. The V Berth has Yacht Bedding and is extremely comfortable. The owner has always managed the moisture in the cabin with a dehumidifier and with moisture absorbers (Dry-Z-Air) in all of the lockers. The engine has been warmed up to operating temperature at least once every two weeks when not in regular usage. The oil has been changed every 100 hours and she has been fastidiously maintained with an open checkbook. Receipts for major service and upgrades are available.
Owner just completed the 1,400 hour, or eight year service, done, including a new timing belt, and a dripless packing gland. This is the only major engine service that will be needed for another eight years.
In June she got two coats of fresh bottom paint and prop speed.
There is a full canvas enclosure for the aft deck. There is no stove or propane system. The owner uses an inductive burner when he's at the dock and the propane grill on the back when hes at anchor.
Current owner is the third owner. The first owner sold her with 60 hours. Current owner bought her with 460 hours and now she has approximately 1,000 hours.
The R-27 has nearly 50 Sq ft of aft deck space allowing for easy access to the standard 200 HP Volvo diesel while keeping engine noise out of the cabin. The well appointed cabin has a midship office with desk and seat, this space also converts to a berth that sleeps two. The dinette table is on a hydraulic piston that allows for an easy conversion to a berth or lounging area. The spacious front v-berth sleeps two adults and is over 6'5" in length. Cooks will love the standard galley which includes a sink, refrigerator, inverter, microwave and a combination propane stove/oven. The marine head is standard with an electric flush toilet, glass vessel sink and shower.
Available options allow customizing the Ranger R-27 for comfortable year-round cruising and effortless operation. Yacht sized features like standard bow and stern thrusters provide for excellent maneuverability around the dock and the 8'6" beam allows the boat to be easily trailered.
