"Boolean" is a USCG-registered 1993 Privilege 43 catamaran located in Palmas del Mar, Puerto Rico. Privilege catamarans are known for their balance of performance and interior volume, and this vessel is offered as a project-oriented opportunity for a buyer prepared to address known condition items.
The boat has not been cruised or moved in over three years. All systems should be assumed to require inspection, testing, servicing, and repair as needed before use. She is not presented as turnkey, and there are no recent surveys on file.
The interior features a 4-cabin, 2-head layout, with two cabins currently converted to storage and utility spaces that can be reverted. There is an active leak at the port forward hatch, which has resulted in interior mold and damaged paneling in that area. Additional interior woodwork and cosmetic finishes will require repair or replacement in the starboard companionway and aft cabin.
The seller reports a number of updates completed between 2022-2023, including replacement of all thru-hulls and valves, dripless shaft seals, cutlass bearings, fuel tank cleaning, replumbing, resealing, and polishing, installation of a 15K BTU Dometic air conditioning unit, new Isotherm water heater, new headliners in multiple areas, and a 4 × 330W solar array. A Northern Lights 15kW generator (approx. 521 hours) is installed but has not been recently tested. Engines and transmissions were previously reported to be in good working order but should be independently verified.
Electronics were upgraded in 2023 and include a Raymarine Axiom chartplotter, i70 depth/speed/wind instruments, and VHF. Sails were previously stated to be in good condition but have not been inspected or rigged in several years.
Fiberglass repairs to the topsides and hull scratches below the waterline were reported by the seller to have resulted from Hurricane Irma and were faired and repaired by a contractor in Palmas del Mar. The seller has stated the vessel did not take on water. As standard marine practice, a hull and rigging inspection is recommended.
The vessel is currently in a slip at Palmas del Mar (approximately $1,000 per month, potentially transferable). A nearby yard can accommodate a short haul-out for survey and inspection.
The Company offers the details of this vessel in good faith but cannot guarantee or warrant the accuracy of this information nor warrant the condition of the vessel. A buyer should instruct his agents, or his surveyors, to investigate such details as the buyer desires validated. This vessel is offered subject to prior sale, price change, or withdrawal without notice.
