I was involved in this process and the insurance underwriter's list was long. In summer 2024, UNIQ went to Merritt's Boat & Engine Company for her summer boatyard visit. The boat was inspected by Merritt's and a small punch-list was completed. Additionally, new bottom paint and Prop speed was applied. Lastly, the hull was waxed, finessed, and polished by Merritt's back to near perfection plus all the metal was polished. The owners have done everything they could to make sure season #1 with their new boat was going to be a success, and it has been.
