Proud Mary is a 1978 Prairie 29 Coastal Cruiser. She is the perfect pocket trawler with a low engine hour Yanmar and has been refit from stem too stern.
Designed by Jack Hargrave this Prairie trawler has been outfitted with the comforts, fit and finish of a yacht. The carefully thought out and executed refit details make her one of a kind. She is truly Yacht Quality, you will not be disappointed in any aspect of how she shows.
Stay comfortable with marine AC w/Heat, shaded with the custom hard top over the aft deck and fully enclosed flybridge, these are only a couple of the highlights. She makes way with a Yanmar 4JH3E diesel that sips fuel at cruise along with Seastar hydraulic steering, integrated Simrad autopilot and Simrad GO9 chartplotter navigation system on a NMEA 2000 backbone.
I can't emphasize enough how this Prairie 29 has been expertly customized with upgrades including all new aluminum tanks, rebuilt/refinished forward berth with storage under, rebuilt custom galley, all new windows and bead board wall covering in salon and a head w/custom tile work and an electric Jabsco toilet. The cockpit is outfitted with a custom hard top, a robust tender davitt, Sundec on the sole and a transom wood appliqué. The owners recently cruised her down the intercostal from Virginia to explore SW Fl. and the Keys. Proud Mary is their floating home away from home and is turn key.
Completely re-built, re-wired & re-plumbed. All engine, electrical, upgrades and maintenance performed by a professional detail oriented knowledgeable yachtsman.
Proud Mary will be spring & summer season stored on the hard in Port Charlotte, Fl.
