The Pearson 28-2 is a lot of boat in a small package. The roomy open layout below creates the feeling of a larger yacht and the hull design with a deep fin keel offers spirited performance for day sailing, weekending or cruising.
This 28 features a newly installed rebuilt Yanmar 2GM inboard diesel and good sails. She is clean and ready to sail away. It was recently donated to a Maine sailing non-profit and is available for purchase through a term charter agreement. Further details available upon request.
The open layout offers accommodations for 6 between the forward V-berth, settees in the main salon, and the double berth in the aft cabin. The teak interior is in good condition and the upholstery appears to be recent.
The V-berth can sleep two comfortably and can be made private with a curtain.
The Main Salon has port and starboard settees/berths with a drop-leaf dining table between them.
The Galley is aft port and the nav desk is aft to starboard. The Galley includes a 2-burner alcohol cook-top, ice box, and storage lockers
the Aft Cabin is aft of the galley to port and features a large double berth with a hanging locker forward of the berth. Excellent access to the engine.
The Head is located aft of the Nav Station to starboard, with a manual toilet, vanity and pull-out shower wand.
