Ready to Sail Around the World

The Pacific Seacraft Pilothouse 32 offers a compelling mix of bluewater capability, liveaboard comfort, shoal draft and rugged craftsmanship. Here are the key benefits of this respected cruising sailboat:

1. True Bluewater Pedigree

  • Designed by Bill Crealock for ocean passages.

  • Built by Pacific Seacraft, known for overbuilt hulls, seaworthiness, and offshore reliability.

  • Sloop rig and full skeg-hung rudder offer excellent control in heavy seas.

2. All-Weather Cruising with a Pilothouse

  • Inside steering station provides protection in cold, rain, and sun.

  • Great for high-latitude sailing or shoulder seasons.

  • Maintains good visibility thanks to raised house and large windows.

3. Overbuilt Quality

  • Hand-laid fiberglass hull, robust deck hardware, deep bulwarks.

  • Keel-stepped mast and secure cockpit design.

  • Attention to detail in joinery, fittings, and layout.

4. Versatility in Layout

  • Inside helm + outside cockpit = flexibility in rough conditions.

  • Comfortable accommodations for 2–4 people (V-berth, quarter berth, convertible dinette).

  • Functional galley and proper head with shower—liveaboard-ready.

 5. Balanced Sailing Performance

  • Tracks well, especially with cutter rig setup.

  • Stiff and stable under sail—comfortably handles a range of wind conditions.

  • Pilothouse doesn’t compromise sailing ability like on many motorsailers.

6. Strong Resale and Reputation

  • Cult following in the bluewater cruising community.

  • Often sells quickly when well-maintained.

  • Seen as one of the best compact offshore boats under 35 feet.

7. Systems Accessibility

  • Thoughtfully engineered for maintenance access to engine, tanks, and electrical.

  • Good tankage for fuel and water given her size.

8. Manageable Size

  • Easily handled by a solo sailor or cruising couple.

  • Under 33 feet = lower slip fees, easier haul-outs, and simpler upgrades.

Summary

If you're looking for a rugged, go-anywhere cruiser with weather protection, this boat checks all the boxes—especially for sailors seeking safety, quality, and the freedom to voyage beyond fair-weather coastlines.
